The ultimate in selection…

You can choose from over four thousand five hundred solid opals and hundreds of different rough and rub parcels. From a small solid opal worth $6.60 to a rare masterpiece worth $66,000 Opal-Network has what you are looking for. We only sell opals, why would you go anywhere else. What’s more, we only sell solid opals! In order to protect our clients, we do not stock doublets or triplets. All our opals are 100% natural and not treated or enhanced in any way.

Why we can give you better quality opals?

We have forty-nine years combined experience in the opal and gem industry. In the last five years alone, we cut and sold over fifteen thousand opals in Australia and overseas…saving people money and time on each purchase.

An opal can be cut and polished in less than 30 minutes, but we often spend four to five hours on some gem quality opals to reveal the maximum fire and beauty of the stone. The more valuable opals we cut and polish by our self, to maintain the best yield and quality.

What is the Opal-Network all about?

Opal-Network is not a network marketing or MLM company. We are a team of opal miners, cutters, & exporters helping each other.

Let me explain how it works… Perhaps our mine is only producing blue-green opals. However, you send me an urgent order for red-on-black opals. Instead of waiting until we find red-on-black opals again, we call our fellow miners, they are more than happy to be of assistance, at no extra charge to you.

Some other time, you place an urgent order for 2000 calibrated opals, but we have only 800. Since we cannot cut one thousand two hundred stones overnight, we call our associates again and find the suitable material to save time and money for you.

The bottom line is, you only have to do business with one company, but a whole network of opal miners and cutters is looking after you. We can guarantee the best price, best selection, and best service—continuously. When you buy from us, you become a valued member of our team.

With teamwork, everyone achieves more. Please contact us today and watch your business grow. We listen to your needs, giving you the right product the first time.

How to buy a $1000 opal for only $520.

Have you ever wondered what determines the price of an opal? Have you ever wanted to know why an opal cost $100 in one shop, when a similar-looking one costs $228 in another store? Let me explain it to you.

The miner finds a rough piece of opal, which is worth $450 on the opal field. Some cutting, polishing, and other cost of getting it to you, the finished opal comes to a very reasonable price of $520. This is how it works at Opal-Network.

On the other hand, some companies have to add on other expenses like commissions and travel expenses for their sales people and other marketing materials --which can all add up to $1000.

Some retail shops operating in exclusive locations have such huge expenses, that they have to pass those charges onto the customer. That could mean $3000 or more for the same opal we are selling for $520, all to make a profit.

When you buy your opals from Opal-Network, you deal direct with the miners and cutters. No middleman, no travel expenses, no rent-- just genuine wholesale prices. You can save the $480 or more that others have to add on to make money!

Do you have dreams?

Remember when you were a kid, dreaming about far away lands, buried treasures, and wanting to discover the unknown world? Did you even want to find that rich mine--and all the jewels hidden there? What happened to those dreams? …

One long hot summer day I was driving on a never-ending dusty dirt road, thirsty and tired , needing a brake and a cold drink, but the roadhouse was still 120 miles away … Where was I headed? … I was driving toward the big unknown--the land of opportunity--toward the mystical opal mines.

Suddenly it hit me. I am living my dreams! All my childhood memories rushed back to me--the long and dark winter nights holding on to my favorite book, keeping it under my pillow. Looking trough the frozen window, staring into the stars, dreaming about the endless summer and all those adventures waiting for me …

Yes, I am living my dreams, I found adventures and the endless summer, I found many wonderful gems. It took a lot of hard work and having luck on my side, lots of sweat and occasional tears .But I find the passion, the meaning for my life. Thanks to God, my partner and all of you people I met on my path!

We have the knowledge and experience to give you what you need!

First, let me introduce my partner, Kornelia Matyas a great businessperson, with over twenty years of retail and wholesale experience in the opal and gem industry.

Kornelia first worked with gems on the Anakie sapphire fields in the late 1970s. This is where she established and operated her first retail shop and wholesale business in the small mining town of Rubyvale.

Kornelia has been working with opals since 1985, supervising a large “noodling” operation in Mintabie. She also owned and run her own opal shop in Coober Pedy, and later in the prestigious Ruptis Plaza on the Gold Coast. Then, in 1992, Kornelia moved to Lightning Ridge and now works with the world famous black opal.

My name is Steven Szeker. I am responsible for mining and cutting our high quality opals. I have also more than twenty years of experience on the opal fields. Testimonials

Hi!
Wow, I had to look up your booth and dig out your name to find you again... Sorry I forget everything but the nobbie's I picked up from you, which are beautiful and have cut very well. I really should have taken that whole parcel for four or five thousand you offered... *sigh*...
Oh well next time...

I'm the guy who sat down and talked a bit at the holidome tent, then met you packing up at day's inn... big, shaved head etc.. Name's John.
I just love cutting your stuff and I want more!!!

While at the show, I picked up two lightning ridge nobbies for $250.00 each. The nobbies had a rub that indicated nice color... How nice I had no clue... The picture shows what was visible in the rub. As I cut into the stone, I found the treasure! This was a triangular chunk of rough with incredible color. I decided to cab this right away...

As I had no idea what was inside, but when I finished, I could see purple and magenta flashes in the black opal indicating a top grade stone.

Moreover, if you have ever had the desire to cut opals I cannot highly recommend enough, the great deal on high quality rough opals from Opal Network.

What is opal?

“Many millions of years ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth the process of creation forged a unique gem which somehow appeared to entrap fire and light in a myriad of colors and thus beautiful opal was born.“

“If the opal could speak, it would say:
I and I alone, I am the all in one.
I combine the red of the ruby, the green of the emerald the blue of the sapphire,
And a myriad of colors, to bewitch the beholder to behold.”

The word opal comes from the Greek”Opallos”, meaning,” to see a change (of colors)”.Opal is a formation of non-crystalline silica gel, and it has a luminous, lustrous glow.
